Hi everyone,

The next full moon is on Samhain for the southern hemisphere.  For this full moon here we will be dedicating all our energetic work to our ancestors.  You can check out the Samhain ritual on under our festivals tab for more information, this is the time we call in & remember all those who have come before us but Samhain is also the new year for many of us so looking ahead & planning our next year is also something we do here.

On the new moon each month we look at things that no longer serve us & separate ourselves from those things & move onto things that are more in line with our higher selves.  When looking at the coming year it is a good idea to review those things that we have moved onto & for the things that are working very well we should look at how to enhance & strengthen them.

As well as this look at the longer term goals you are moving toward & reinforce your intent for these or if you have seen a year that has completely reordered your life's path set your intent as you feel is best for you.  With the veil thin you can also ask the ancestors for guidance.

Other things that the full moon in April can energetically be helpful with includes healing trauma's past & new, attracting the beginnings of new love (this can in all forms not just romantic love) & for planting the seeds of new growth for the coming year (both metaphorically for your own growth & literally for winter veg).

If you have crystals that missed the last moon place them out on the night of the full moon, take care with those that are sensitive to moisture, & with the co-incidence of Samhain you might like to ask the ancestors to infuse energies with them as well.  If you had them out on the last full moon place a clear quartz (amplifier), rose quartz (universal love) & amethyst (higher self/crown & spiritual enhancer) on your celebration altar or table to enhance the connection between you and your ancestors on the night.

Hi there everyone,

The dark and new moon are Sunday the 15th & Monday the 16th April. 

This is the time of the month where we should look to what has not helped us over the last month, either from a internal/micro point of view (behaviors, habits etc) or an external/macro point of view (other people, foods etc).  What ever you feel has become very resistant for you over the last month should be evaluated now and that which we can we should let go.

When ever you are letting things go or moving things or yourself to a position where you are letting go of anything you should always do it from a place of positive energy/universal love.  Even if it's a person that you have negative feelings for when we do these from a place of universal love we are giving ourselves permission to heal from it and move on.  It is always more about you that the other.  

Another lovely effect from letting go or releasing things from a place of universal love is that you energetically take back any power you inadvertently gave to that other.  This lifts your vibration, removes resistance & opens your path for new more beneficial experiences.  Now to the new moon.

The new moon is where we should be planning to achieve the little goals over the next month, setting our intentions that will build from now to maximum (waxing) at the full moon.  Every month we get the opportunity to re evaluate our goals big & small.  It is this time that we look at some of the micro goals attached with our macro ones, here we reset, adjust or strengthen these to make sure they are aligned with our macro/major goals.  There are times when we need to work on the macro and sometimes completely start again because the macro's are now not what is best for us.

When working with the energies of these moon times it shows us that change is constant & not always negative even if it is hard to see at the time.  It also helps to make sure we stay connected to our path, setting ourselves on the path that offers us the least resistance & that which best serves us & those around us from a place of universal love.  

If we can let the people or experiences that most impact or upset us go from this place of universal love you can seriously do & accomplish anything!
