Drawing Down the Moon

This method is drawing the energies of the moon into the practitioner for any purpose required.
It isn't drawing down the moon in the traditional sense or the coven based rituals.
As a sole practitioner many rituals and spells are less formal however the intent is very much the same.

Prepare for this spell as would for others by starting with your sacred space & a clearing or cleansing of yourself.
For this one a cleansing bath or shower is a good idea.
If you are doing this for a new home then you can follow the Spell/Ritual Preparation.
​This ritual is best performed outside, after sunset, in bare feet, on grass or earth however if this is impractical inside will work, it is helpful to go outside at some point though to strengthen the connection with the moon.

Ritual

Tools & Items You Will Need

• The magic tools you feel useful i.e. wand
• Crystals to correspond with the elements
• Crystal to symbolize the moon (moonstone or clear quartz)
• Candles (if you wish & it's not too windy)
• White Sage, Desert Sage or White Copal
• Fire proof dish
• A Coal Tablet

When You Are Ready to Begin

• Once the circle is cast with your wand (or other magical tool of choice) and crystal in the other visualized the soft energies of the moon washing over, into and around you
• What ever the stage of the moon at the time of performing this is the energy you should visualize
• Raise your arms toward the moon and motion downward toward yourself in a beckoning motion
• The back up again and down to the ground and repeat (if you can't get up and down from the ground skip this)
• Repeat this until you feel the energy you are working with build to a point when it stops
• As you do this you can recite the following or continue with your visualisation ​

Preparations

• Refer to Charging & Enchantment tab to program your crystal
• Clear quartz is a diverse crystal that can be programmed to a specific task through cleansing & setting its intent
• Use the intent of drawing down the moon energies.
• Remember to first circle your have cast.​
