House Protection

This house protection spell, it is slightly different from the blessing spell.  It is more combative in tone however it is not combat magic, it is purely a stronger sentiment & intent.  Preparation using a crystal grid on the border of the property is the same, the spell verse is different.

Prepare for this spell as would for others by starting with your sacred space & a clearing or cleansing of yourself.  For this one a cleansing bath or shower is a good idea.  If you are doing this for a new home then you can follow the Spell/Ritual Preparation.  If your home is an apartment place the crystals at the four compass points the correspond to each room, if it is a unit or house with it's own yards place them outside at the boundary of the property where the compass points fall.

Tools & Items You May Need

• Four clear quartz crystals (points if possible)
• A Blue, Yellow or White Candle
• A Piece of Paper & a Pen
• Cauldron or Fire Proof Dish
• White Sage, Desert Sage or White Copal
• A Coal Tablet​

Preparation of Crystals

• Refer to Charging & Enchantment tab.
• Clear quartz is a natural amplifier of energies & as it carries white energies it also a natural protector.
• Use the intent of protection of your home.
• It is a good idea to charge these in a circle you have cast.​

When You Are Ready to Begin

• Preparation for this spell should be done in the form on a good clean out & with preparation of your sacred space.
• Clean out the home you have moved into & the any 'stuff' you may have to bring into the home that is no longer serving your higher good.
• Clear out any material items you have no use for, confront & settle any emotion that no longer serves you & smudge yourself to clear any negative energies.
• If you don't really have any thing materialistic to get rid off use a symbolic item (empty bottle, piece of paper).
• Concentrate & focus on the intent of your spell.
• Cast a circle.
• On a table light the spell candle, have the incense smouldering to strengthen positive energies.
• Place your charged crystals around the candle at the points of north, east, south & west.
• Write the below spell on the piece of paper with the pen & recite the below until you feel the energies are right.
• When this is done take the crystals and place them at the compass points at the boundaries of the properties.
• If you are placing them outside and if at all possible bury them at each point.
• You can simulate this inside with pots of soil however it is not necessary.
• If it a good idea to recharge the crystals if they are inside 4 times a year at the turning of each season.
• Yule - Winter, Ostara - Spring, Litha - Summer, Mabon - Autumn
• If they are outside & buried it is a good idea to recharge them each year at the height of the suns strength (Litha - Summer)​
